BHF's flagship event is back for the 45th edition - cycling from London to Brighton is the perfect challenge for those riding solo or in a team.
London to Brighton Bike Ride is the British Heart Foundation's flagship event covering 54 miles from the crowds at Clapham Common to the buzz at Brighton beach.
The bike ride is family-friendly so riders aged 14-17 are welcome to sign up by joining a team with a guardians consent.
You'll set off at your pre-allocated start time based on your cycling ability. If you're riding with a team, you'll be allocated the same start time as your team mates.
"My team - what a superb and supportive bunch they are. Answering every question I had, using their experience and knowledge to get me up to scratch as a cyclist. When I signed up to the event, I had nothing...no bike, no cycling gear, not even a helmet. And the advice they offered, as well as the advice from the fundraising pack, really set me in great stead to take on this event." - Lee, Team BHF 2018 captain
