Matlock Athletic Club provides competition for runners of all ages and abilities from the recreational runner to the competitive athlete.
Matlock Athletic Club has a very active social and racing programme and hosts the popular White Peak Marathon, Swift Half Marathon and Down in a Shot 10K, two annual fell races, a round of the Derby Runner BDL SL series, the Peak Rail 7, a triathlon and also gives practical support to the Whitworth Thread and a number of other local races.
