Ripon Runners is a friendly club welcoming people who want to get into or train for road running, marathon running, cross country, orienteering and fell running.

From absolute beginners to those with head torches who set off around Studley Park in the dark!

Social running plus a group doing speed/hill/interval sessions.
Training sessions for boys and girls who already enjoy running and want to develop and compete in local and regional races.
The membership covers runners of all ages and abilities and includes road runners, fell runners, ultra runners and trail runners. The club organises three races a year - the famous Jolly Holly Jog, the Ripon 10 mile and the Burn Valley Half Marathon.
The club also organises social events such a pub nights but with a run of course! Weekend runs have proved popular with a hostel stay somewhere in the Dales or the Lake District.
There is also an increasingly enthusiastic and successful junior section.
There is no need to worry about membership of the club until you have tried it out so get down one Tuesday for a run and maybe a drink afterwards to see if Ripon Runners is for you.
This is a picturesque 35-mile circular route which starts and finishes in the pretty North Yorkshire village of Studley Roger, taking in the locally-renowned Ripon Rowel Trail and the Nidderdale AONB.
