Event overview

Remembrance Day (informally known as Poppy Day owes to the tradition of wearing the remembrance poppy), has been observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty.

The day will consist of a half marathon, 10km, 5km and a 1 mile race. All races are traffic-free and use the flat and fast concrete grounds of the disused former World War 2 airfield.

The event will take place on Remembrance weekend in November, and accompanying your run there will be music on the course to motivate you.

Great race with great support staff. Paul A

Another cracking remembrance run - this is the 3rd ATW half I have done at this location and they are always well organised and have very friendly and enthusiastic staff / marshalls. A great run and highly recommended on a unique course. DW

Great event for a PB, very flat circuit, and well laid out.  Plenty of parking and very friendly marshalls and event director. DW

Excellent friendly event and very well organised as ever. Thanks Alan S
