Event overview
Christmas is a-coming. Bauble Bimble is back!
Ferry Meadows is one of the largest country parks in the region.
Situated less than three miles from Peterborough City Centre at the heart of Nene Park, its varied landscapes make it a favourite destination for thousands of visitors throughout the year.
There is a 6-hour event starting at 9am or a 4-hour event starting at 11am. Run as far as you can during the time, plus a little bit more if you're lucky. As long as you leave Base Camp by 5:59:59 you get to run another lap! Rest between laps then head out for more.
The 5.3K lap through the forest consists of gravel footpaths and some grassy areas - so a true multi-terrain course.
You may be completing your first official 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Full Marathon or even Ultra Marathon, or it may be your 100th or 1000th event!
With next to no navigation, no special kit requirements, an aid station every lap and straightforward logistics - this is ideal for going further than ever before.
There will be a bespoke medal for the event, which you will receive at the end of the race. Or if you choose the 'green' lucky dip option, you will choose from a selection of previous medals.
Why not come in fancy dress?

AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. My first ZigZag event and I would not hesitate to enter more of the events in the future.Every aspect of the event was first rate. Many thanks to the ZigZag team and all the volunteers. Valerie C
Great event! Maria E
Enjoyable race, good medal. My first Zig Zag event (i think!). Enjoyed the route and was an easy event logistically (little faff). Very good events for beginner / slower runners i think. Definitely felt like there was no pressure, which is nice. Good coffee and cake afterwards and a decent medal too. So many local races scrimp on medals, but for many of us, it's an important part of an event. Dean C
The best in the business. Fantastic races organised by the best in the business. It is very clear to see that Zig zag work incredibly hard to make sure their events are welcoming, run smoothly, and fun for runners of all abilities. The events take place at some beautiful locations, easy to get to with good parking and facilities. Brilliant marshals, well signed routes and a fab race-day experience. Highly recommended! Ryan J
Brilliant. Great team as always!Delicious cake and coffee! Bernie H
The Best!!! This event was a perfect way to end a wonderful year of running with just really, really good people. Have a well deserved rest and in 2025: We go again! John W
