Beccles Triathlon & Aquathlon | Aquathlon

The Beccles Triathlon is an early season sprint which attracts experienced Triathletes as well as newcomers - and all are equally welcome! It will be joined in 2024 by the first ever Beccles Aquathlon - a swim/run (no bike!) event on the same course and at the same time as the Triathlon. The Beccles Triathlon is an exhilarating and fun event and the Aquathlon will be too – for experienced Triathletes, Aquathloners and novices alike and you will be cheered on by hundreds of spectators and supporters from the start and finish at the Lido or along the route. In between the SWIM in the Lido, and the RUN along the Waveney River, Triathletes will cycle the BIKE route which has been specially designed to incorporate only left turns – making it as competitor-friendly as possible, with marshals out in force to keep everyone safe and stop competitors getting lost. The course is mostly flat on the way out and ‘undulating’ on the way back! There will be finishers medals and t-shirts for both events, as well as trophies for the winners.
