Washington Running Club host an annual 5k race aptly named The Bottoms Up Cup, running through the heart of the iconic Princess Anne Park in the centre of Washington during the summer.

The Bottoms Up Cup 5k race is named after Stephen Bottoms, who was an original member of Washington Running Club before the club reformed in 2014. A challenging, undulating route round Washington. The run starts on the C2C cycle path which leads round to the trails of Princess Anne Park. Finishing about less than half a mile from the start next to St Robert's school. There’s a mixture of terrain and all abilities are welcome. There is also a 1 mile fun run available with entries on day being £2.50 and will be held after the main race. Come and join us for a superb mornings running with our friendly club!
