For years black diamonds were used to power the industrial revolution Derwent Walk was once one of the main lines used to transport coal from Crawleyside Bank to the Dunston Staithes on the river Tyne CoallineUltra is a 41.72 mile route based on this historic North East railway. Running Circles invite you to take part in this 41.72 mile ultra on this historic trail. It’s quite simple, register and pick up your tracker from Pedalling Squares cafe early on race day and then set off from the cafe.
