The Dartmoor Volcano Race is a 10.5-mile tour of the Southern Moor, with over 550 metres of ascent.

It’s not a ‘walk in the park’, it’s the Dartmoor National Park, and the race visits the high points of Pupers Hill, Snowdon, and South Dartmoor’s highest point – Ryders Hill. And of course the infamous Red Lake Volcano! The Dartmoor Volcano Race is a fully marked and marshalled 10.5-mile course. The race starts and finishes in the village of Scoriton, (TQ110JB) on the edge of Dartmoor. 4 miles from the A38, Buckfastleigh/Ashburton junction. Bespoke medals for all finishers. Bespoke t-shirts will be available to purchase through the application process.
