The course starts in Bampton Village and primarily follows an out and back course along the shores of Haweswater in a remote and dramatic mountain valley.

On the day you will get a unique mug with piping hot tea and a piece of delicious flapjack supplied by Traybakes Ltd of Penrith. I wish you all the best for your training and I can’t wait to see you all on the start line. Enter before the New Year and take advantage of our early bird discount. As last year, we also have team prizes so you can get two (or more) team mates to keep you company and car share to the event to make a great day of it. We also host a junior run at the event for children aged 4 to 16, which is 2.5km run entirely on the road.
