Event overview

This ROAD CLOSED courses take in the famous landmarks of the Newcastle Quayside passing the Swing Bridge and under High Level Bridge, Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, King Edward VII Bridge & Redheugh Bridge, before returning the same way. This is an extremely fast, flat course that boasts real PB potential, whilst being accessible to beginners to kick start the year. The race will be split into 2 waves with Sub 40minute runners for an elite race (won in 29.29 in 2024), shortly followed by the mass B race. Please enter the A or B race to suit the time you expect to run on the day. **There is a 90 minute cut off due to road closures**
