Sign up for a stride on the shortest day of the year The Winter Solstice Strider is a sister event to our popular 5 mile Summer Solstice Saunter. This event takes place on the Winter Solstice in December 2024 and is a head-torch dark run of either 10km or 5km. The run starts at the STRI in Bingley, and winds through the woods (and fittingly past Druids Altar) within the St Ives Estate. As usual with our solstice events, all participants will receive a fantastic bespoke medal this year. The event is sponsored by Coco & Barley Dog Walking Services and Warters & Co., and supported by our hosts at the STRI and the St Ives Golf Club, who provide a large proportion of the free parking that is provided for participants.
