Highlights
Overview
This eight-day expedition follows a scenic, less-travelled route to Mount Toubkal’s summit. Approaching from the east, you’ll cross remote high passes for gradual acclimatisation and immersion in the High Atlas.
Each day reveals new scenery — from terraced villages and fertile valleys to barren peaks and serene alpine lakes. Nights are spent camping in secluded locations beneath vast, starlit skies. Days are filled with steady climbs, technical descents, and meaningful interactions with Morocco’s mountain culture.
The final ascent to the summit (4,167m) is a highlight, offering sweeping views over endless rust-colored ridges and the distant shimmer of the Sahara. This route rewards endurance and curiosity, fusing physical challenge with cultural discovery for a rich mountain experience.

We had a fantastic trip, guided by Lahcen throughout. He was highly professional and always attentive to our individual preferences. He worked extremely hard to make sure each member of the team had an amazing experience. I would love to do another trek in Morocco and wouldn’t hesitate to go with Lahcen again. He was also very encouraging during the challenging parts of the climb and ensured we were safe at all times. The assistant guide, Mohammed, was also great as was the cook Hussain and the team of muleteers. Jess
I won't go into too much detail regarding the Mount Toubkal hike, what I will say is that it's extremely well organised, all you need to do is hike and absorb the magnificence of your surroundings, everything else is taken care of... David
It was my first trip organised by a travel company and I thought it was excellent. Kath M
