Fitness level
Physical fitness and walking experience are both very important however the ethos is to take on a challenge, not to be the quickest. The challenge involves walking for approximately 12 hours in one single day so should not be considered very easy however it is possible to achieve with correct preparation. Participants are encouraged to undertake physical activity for at least 3 months. All challengers will receive a plan to help support with their training.
Slower walkers
As parts of the route are off track, it is important that your group stays close together in this challenge. There will be a leader at the front and a guide at the back of the group and they will regularly regroup where required.

A helpful kitlist with what to pack in your rucksack is readily available.

Your Welsh Three Peaks adventure begins early at Llanberis, where you’ll all meet the team before setting off to tackle three of Wales’ most iconic mountains in a single day.
The first stop is Pen y Fan, the southernmost peak in the Brecon Beacons. After a briefing, you’ll begin the trek to the summit before descending and travelling north to the dramatic mountain of Cadair Idris.

The team were excellent throughout our event. They were accommodating and flexible in the organisation ahead of our challenge (c. 55 colleagues completing the Welsh Three Peaks overnight) and at the event the team were great. Everything was well organised and prepared for us, and the team on the mountains were a great balance of friendly and encouraging but sensibly cautious when the weather turned against us and some of the team were finding the challenge tough. We will certainly use the team again if we do something similar in the future. Thanks again to all the team! Mark T
The Welsh 3 Peaks is very challenging. The staff looked out for all the participants and helped them through. Linda C
Having just finished the Welsh 3 peaks, I would wholeheartedly recommend it. Being thrown into a group of people I had never met, the camaraderie and encouragement I felt was fantastic. The encouragement to push yourself and help others around you was great. I had an incredible day, both pushing myself physically and mentally. Making friends and working together to reach the end. Absolutely brilliant. Phil
Enjoyed all of it! Loved chatting to the participants/guides. There was great team spirit and we were absolutely blessed with the weather. Minibus driver was very friendly & accommodating. Caroline
Absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend them enough. Our company took part in the Welsh 3 peaks challenge and, after looking at a number of companies we decided this was the company for us. We could tell they was helpful and extremely efficient from the first email. Selina helped us build our package and all was arranged quickly without any hassle. The team looked after us really well and helped the slower members of our party as well as the faster members at the front. They really did make the whole experience a pleasure even though at times it can be tough. We would just like to say a big thanks to the team for such an incredible day. I would recommend anyone to book. THANKS GUYS! Tony
We all had a fabulous weekend, Alan, Mike and Lorraine were amazing in their leadership and encouragement. The guys in our team that hadn’t been on an event before were so impressed with everything – from the organisation to the trek itself. Claire
Just completed Welsh 3 peaks for the St Francis Hospice. We had the best time, everything ran smoothly and had a great time. The team were amazing, would definitely sign up for another challenge. Nicola B
Incredible guides, high spirits throughout and 100% impossible to achieve without them. Carolina
