Fitness level

Physical fitness and walking experience are both important however the ethos is to take on a challenge, not to be the quickest. The challenge involves walking for 12 hours in a single day so should not be considered easy however it is certainly possible to achieve with correct preparation. Participants undertake physical activity for at least 3 months. All challengers will receive a plan to help support with their training.

Slower walkers

As parts of the route are off track, it is important that your group stays close together in this challenge. There will be a leader at the front and a guide at the back of the group and they will regularly regroup where required.

A helpful kit list for your rucksack is readily available.

I have had the opportunity of taking part in 2 events and both were amazing and so very well organised. The guides are extremely knowledgeable, experienced and good fun. They definitely keep you motivated and uplifted despite adverse weather conditions on our Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. Sandee

Thoroughly enjoyed my day despite the very wet weather. Good communication from staff and all of them were very helpful and knew their stuff. Challenge was completed in under 12 hours which was the goal I wanted. It was worth the still muscles and pains the next day. Would consider doing it again in better weather. Steve

Just returned from completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. I have to say the organisation and support available from initial registration to the finish of the challenge was fantastic. All the team are supportive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Would not hesitate in recommending them for your challenge. Wayne

The 12-hour Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge was well organised and I felt supported at all times. The number of leaders allowed a faster group to separate near the end of the challenge so that they could achieve a better time than the rest of the group. This is not an easy challenge but my sense of achievement more than makes up for my sore legs. Linda

A great friendly team who go that extra mile to ensure we are safe well so we can make the most of our adventure. Robbie

My two friends and I had a fantastic day doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. Our first walk so we needed advice which we got when booking. Even though the weather was bad all the group was happy due to the guides and helpers. When the group broke into smaller groups due to abilities our leader Paul was great and kept us on course to achieve the Challenge time. Thoroughly recommend. Ricky Toomey

An organised and very professional trek. I felt informed and safe at all times and the only thing that got me to complete all three peaks was the motivation and support from the guides. The guides were just normal people like us sharing their life stories and listening to our personal reasons for taking on this challenge. Sarah

Fantastic company to aid you on your personal goals and challenges. I thoroughly enjoyed my Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge and all staff were lovely and easy to get along with, full of enthusiasm, praise and encouragement. Thank you to all involved. Emma
