Overview

Bringing together coaches and athletes of all ages and experience the club has an average yearly membership of 250 and is one of Derbyshire's foremost athletics clubs.  

The Club has over 20 qualified coaches and all activities are carried out under supervision. AVEAC prides itself on encouraging all coaches to undertake regular courses to update and improve their knowledge of all areas of the sport and coaching in general. Members have opportunities to take part in local, regional and national competitions.
