A swim from Shore Road Beach towards either Sandbanks or Bournemouth depending on tide and weather. Accompanied by lifeguards in kayaks.

Overview

East Dorset Open Water Swimming Club offers a great way to enjoy the open water of the Dorset coast in a safe and fun way.  Members range from beginners to long distance endurance swimmers to ice swimmers, and are happy to share advice and support.

Club sessions run weekly on a Tuesday evening from April to October and the Club also organises a 10km swim in Poole Bay, the Seahorse Swim in Studland Bay and a swim and trek day in the Purbeck area.
