Hinckley Mountaineering Club
HMC is an active and friendly club with a love of the mountains and the great outdoors. We organise both fixed and ad hoc events in nearby areas every month and regularly throughout the year.

Overview
We currently have around 70 members of all ages and abilities, based at The Plough Inn, Hinckley, Leicestershire. We draw members in particular from the Leicester, Nuneaton and Lutterworth triangle, although increasingly we have members from further afield. We organise both fixed and ad hoc events in nearby areas every month, with weekend or longer trips to our favourite destinations such as the Lake District, Wales, Scotland and the Alps.
