Many Pitsea Running Club members are regulars at Basildon and Wickford parkrun as participants and volunteers, and involved in parkrun takeovers. There are cafés in both parks for some post event refreshments and meet up.

Some club members compete in the Essex Cross-Country and the South Essex Cross-Country Leagues as well as running in various Championship Races during the cross-country season, which runs from October to March.
