Around 8 miles/13 km of trail and fell and a bit of road, with around 1080 ft/330m ascent showcasing some of the best routes on the gorgeous Cartmel peninsula in the southern Lake District (around 2/3 off-road) Marshalled and waymarked, the race starts at the Community Centre, Allithwaite (post code LA11 7QJ). Off-road shoes recommended. Hat/gloves and full body cover/waterproofs required.
