Great event and great staff couldn’t have asked for better. Rhys F

The prerace info was useful and I felt well prepared going into this event. The ATW team are helpful, and there was a medic on hand when I needed one. I enjoyed the course and the morning out. Good – lovely clear water in the swim; nice bike route, very scenic and pretty flat. Emily V

Great event as ever from the ATW gang. So well organised, brilliant bike route, grass run route. Super marshals, excellent free photos. Thanks Guys! Jo C

The pre-race briefing was very good, with enough detail. The lake is clear with a ramp for entering and exiting the water. There are plenty of marshals on the bike course, which is needed as certain parts you pass twice and exit a different way. There is some technical riding and lots of encouragement along the way. Paul T

Excellent location. Great parking – hassle free. Plenty of space in the park. Plenty of space in transition. Lake swim is great. It was sunny so hard to see the second buoy swimming into the sun. Steep exit for me anyway. Cycle route is good, well signposted and marshalled. John T

Great race as usual. Very supportive marshals. Always a pleasure to race with ATW. Lawrence S

It's a really unique race on every leg! The swim is on a lake with waterski ramps, which makes the course feel shorter somehow. It narrows slightly around the ramps but much less than most river races. I think there was some bunching at one of the early ramps on one of the waves. Ben R

Great event, well run as always by ATW and photos/times posted quickly, albeit 7.10am is an early start when you add on a long commute, plus cold too. Didn't see swag and finisher goodies, which was a shame. Course was relatively traffic free, well marshalled and signposted. Mark A

Now in my 25th year as a triathlete, I estimate that I have completed perhaps 100+ triathlons including 6 world qualifiers, and this has to be one of the most enjoyable races on the circuit. From the time I arrived right through to the end, the atmosphere, organisation and support were superb. Graham P

It's a unique event with the swim winding its way through waterski ramps (not in use at the time!). The bike course has changed from its previous double loop to a single longer one. It's great rolling countryside on reasonably fast and quiet roads. Ben R

Always a well organised, fun event with ATW. Only gripe I have is a mixed mass swim start — waves and/or separate men and women starts would be better. Rachel C
