Event overview

Whether your child is a budding Alex Yee or Georgia Taylor-Brown, or trying triathlon for the first time, this is the perfect event for them.

Competitors will swim in one of the UK’s few indoor 50m pools before taking on the bike and run in the beautiful grounds of Oundle School. The 50m ‘snake swim’ sees the fastest athletes start first, with individual timing beginning as they enter the water. Accurate predicted swim times ensure smooth seeding and a fair race.

Transitions take place on grass, followed by bike laps of the playing fields — 2km loops for most categories and an 800m cut-off for TriStart — before a run on 600m tarmac laps around the tennis courts. The event finishes on the playing fields, where every finisher receives a medal, water and goodies.
