Event overview
ATW brings you the St Albans, New Years Eve 10K!
The single lap course starts and finishes in Highfield Park and runs out along the flat and tree-lined disused railway line called the Alban Way, towards Hatfield before making a loop via Sleapshyde and returning along the Alban Way. The route is on tarmac, with a grass finish field and most of the course is traffic-free.
Finish the year off with a new PB, your club mates by your side and a glass of fizz.
Lace up your trainers and start the countdown to a healthier, happier you.
Make it a family event and all join the free Childrenโs Fun Run, which will take place just before the 10K start (no need to book!) You can use it as your warm up!
There will be live music, a bar and a Cow juice Coffee van supplying refreshments, all to keep your friends and family entertained whilst they wait for you to cross that finish line.

A really fun and friendly event with a brilliant atmosphere. My family loved cheering, the announcer gave me a birthday shout-out at the finish, and it was a fantastic start to my birthday. Karina K

Great event and a beautiful course. A must-do for any serious athlete. Elena S
I did the course last year and absolutely loved it. It’s flat and fast compared to other local 10Ks, and the wave start with pacers worked really well this year. Emily G
No review provided. Harrison G
A fantastic, well-organised event with a great atmosphere. I loved the reverse course and appreciated the improvements, with only minor suggestions for muddy conditions and finish treats. Stephanie G
A lovely event to finish the year. The new gazebo was a welcome addition, the marshals were brilliant as always, and I really liked the medal and prosecco. Petra W
