Overview

Looking for the challenge of a lifetime?

This is a challenge that has endured centuries.

The ‘End to End’ has been an iconic cycling challenge since before the Tour de France was even a glint in Henri Desgrange’s eye. It always has and always will be a true test of stamina and will. The reason it has stood the test of time as a challenge? The simplicity of going from South to North and the breathtaking variety of scenery it passes through.

Experience the full range of terrain Britain has to offer.

You are guided from the rugged coastline of Cornwall to the rolling hills and valleys of the North of England right up to the barren majesty of the Scottish highlands. There isn't another event in the world that manages to string together such a range of moorlands, hidden green valleys, winding back lanes, stunning coastal roads and historic sites.

Variety of packages.

Deciding to cycle for 9 days is a big commitment to make, so there are a variety of packages on offer to suit you. From the original 9-day classic to the 3-day Scotland package, along with corporate, charity and hotel options, there is something for everyone.

  • Sustainability policy

Threshold's sustainability framework highlights that sustainability is embedded in all events they organise, including this one. They believe passionately that their events should strive to have as positive impact on the natural world as they do on the teams and individuals that participate in them.

The clear framework is underpinned by the vision to have a net positive impact on the natural world. This will be achieved by:

Sustainability framework

  • Reducing the negative impact of the events

    1. Reducing: Implementing strategies to reduce the negative environmental impact of the events (emissions, ecological impact, water use, plastic pollution).

    2. Off-setting: Off-setting the carbon footprint of the business through initiatives that reduce emissions locally and globally.

  • Increasing the positive impact of the events

    3. Inspiring: Inspiring social and industry behaviour change by sharing, promoting and advocating for partnerships with suppliers, sponsors, clients, participants and the public.

    4. Advancing: Quantifying the impact of the events and setting SMART objectives. Basing strategies on science and sharing data within the Infront Group, the industry and academia.

This framework is regularly reviewed and is available in greater detail.

The best multi day cycling event ever, if you are even thinking about entering just do it. It will be the best decision you ever make. 2024 will be my 6th RAB in a row, Threshold crew are amazing, you want for nothing. if you are a lone rider don't worry as you will make friends that last forever. The best 9 days you will ever have on your bike. The End. Neil S

WOW BRAB is a bucket list event, everything is taken care for you except pedaling the bike, absolutely highly recommend this event, and is pound for pound excellent value for money. The comradely, friendships and memories will live forever in your heart. Steve B

100% head and shoulders, the most well organised, friendly and fun event I have ever taken part in. I genuinely can't think of a single way to improve anything. No stone left unturned, super helpful staff and volunteers, and great support throughout. Please make sure this happens again and again. I am definitely doing 2024 (shame it's moved to alternate years). Gary B

RAB was an unforgettable event, it could not have been better organised and supported, I would highly recommend any cyclist to take this, it's been nearly a week since I finished and I'm still on a high! Pete M

Ride Across Britain was incredible. A life highlight. This is a tough multi-day endurance event. But Threshold Sports have uniquely good organisation and support to get everyone through it. If you are tempted to ride across Britain; you must do it with Threshold Sports RAB because 1. The Medics team, to patch you up. 2. The Physico Team to fix muscles. 3. The bike mechanics. 4. The outstanding food and vibe in camp each night, to motivate you. Outstanding team Threshold, we love what you did. Mike R

My first ever RAB and it has been a long time coming. First off, the organisation of everything from food to crew to routes was outstanding. I've completed many big sporting events and this is hands down the best and most fun (but gruelling) event I've ever been to. Marc C

The second time I've ridden this event and it just gets better. You will not have a better cycling experience in your life. If you like riding your bike, if you want a challenge and if you want to see Britain, then this is the way to do it. The event is totally focused on getting you to the finish. Shaun S
