Event overview

Set in the heart of one of Britain’s most elegant historic cities, this challenge starts and finishes at Bath Racecourse basecamp. Around 2,000 adventurers will head out on looped routes through and around Bath.

Expect panoramic views, a pass by the famous Royal Crescent, stretches along the River Avon, and vibrant city scenes blended with beautiful surrounding countryside. Enjoy full support and a celebration finish to start your year strong.

The Ultra Challenge Experience

This endurance event is for a wide range of fitness and ages. Choose your distance and do it at your pace. The support enables you to go further, whilst enjoying the great outdoors and camaraderie.

There are marquee rest stops, plenty of food and drink, medical and massage teams, and a fully signed route with GPS tracking to guide you. A big finish-line celebration awaits with an amazing sense of achievement, and once the aches subside, you’ll feel energised and up for more of life’s challenges!

The Bath 50 Ultra Challenge® will be fun, safe, and rewarding – with full support, enabling you to push yourself further through wonderful historic scenery!

Overview

Perfect if you want a more leisurely start to your season – or perhaps to bring the children along and make it an active family day out! The route heads out of the racecourse with great views over Bath, and heads back through the countryside to basecamp – where a medal and celebration await!
