Event overview

Immerse yourselves in the stunning Shropshire scenery, hills, muddy puddles, stiles, and stream crossings, and claim our finisher's medal along with a delicious doughnut to recharge when you reach the finish line. This 10k event welcomes runners of all ages and ability, from beginners to seasoned athletes. It's ideal for newcomers to running, as there are no cut off times and no pressure at all. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. The start and finishing point is at The Church Barn, Bishop's Castle, SY95AF. You will find toilet, kitchen, and baggage facilities here. Please note that there is no parking at the venue itself, but ample parking is available at the local secondary school, cattle market car park, and there is plenty of on-street parking. The route is well marked and marshalled, and will be chip timed by our friends at Readysetgotiming, who are from nearby Herefordshire. On-site catering will be available, offering hot and cold food and drinks to energise you before the event and support your recovery afterward. Register for our 10K Trail today and push your limits, because you can achieve it and anything is possible.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
