Event overview
Organised by Lawley Running Club, the event has grown into a firm favourite on the local running calendar, attracting both seasoned trail runners and enthusiastic newcomers. The multiโterrain route winds through and around the beautiful rural village of Beckbury, guiding runners along scenic countryside tracks with just a short section of road. Fully marshalled and clearly signposted, the course also features a midpoint drinks station to help runners stay fuelled for the second half. A standout feature of the race is the legendary “Badgers Bite Hill” — a challenging climb that demands grit and rewards every runner with sweeping views across the Shropshire landscape. It’s become a defining moment of the Beckbury experience and a story every finisher takes home. Every participant will cross the line to receive a special commemorative medal, along with a goody bag including water and treats to help with recovery. Expect a lively atmosphere, supportive marshals, and the warm, welcoming community spirit that makes this event so special. With over a decade of hills, mud and memorable moments, the 2026 Beckbury Trail 10km promises to be one of the best yet.
