Introduction
And, for the junior racers is a brand new family event in the form of a junior race offering! This 2km race is chip timed and will give aspiring junior racers a chance to take part in their very own, dedicated event. The race will take place before the main race, on the trails and paths around Bedgebury and will be fully marshalled.
Because of the site location at Bedgebury, this will be a relatively challenging junior race but young runners will be cheered as they cross the finish line! The first boy and girl will receive a trophy.
Parents are responsible for collecting their children at the finish line. If parents are accompanying their children on this race then no additional entry is required. However, participating parents will not receive a chip time or medal. Come and support young runners with uproarious cheers!

A gorgeous bespoke medal and lots of yummy goodies to stock up on... it's a race I will definitely do again. The scenery is beautiful, the mud and hills are a fun challenge... Ellie S
The race was well organised and marshalled. The staff all being very friendly. A great race staged in a beautiful forest . I would definitely do this one again. Lucy B
I must also add that the marshalls were excellent. Always happy and cheering despite having to stand in the cold. Would I recommend this race? Yes. Would I do it again? Definitely. Last word - wear trail shoes! Mark R
The marshalls were well located throughout the course and were really encouraging, and remarkably upbeat considering how cold they must have been. At the finish we were handed a quality bespoke medal, and there was a a table with water, coke and biscuits to help with the refueling. I can't wait to do this again, I'm a definite for next year! Hayley L
Always one to look forward to, excellent scenery, enthusiastic marshals and nice medal to finish. Julian C
