Bewl Water is a fantastic place to run around .. Event well organised. Claire G
Once the race started I really enjoyed it, it was 90% on trails and some small road sections. Lovely downhill stretch to the finish and a great medal. Mark H
Another great event organised by Hermes Running! It was incredibly hot yesterday but there was plenty of water and the people at the aid stations looked after us well. Thanks David and all your crew for another enjoyable event. A special note to the marshal at the turnaround point. He was very encouraging and motivational! Robert
Second year for me and thoroughly enjoyed it once again. The course is around the beautiful Bewl water reservoir venturing onto some of the small roads where the track leaves the reservoir. It is a very tough course in my view as not as flat as you might think, the hills are mostly in the last quarter of the run, just when your legs are tired. Feed stations are plentiful with a good section of fluids and snacks. Would I do it again, definitely! Julian C
Bewl Water is a fantastic place to run around and the organisers put on four different runs, ultra (3 laps), Marathon (2 laps which I did), half marathon (1 lap) and a 10K. The event was well organised and there is an area to leave bags. Good to car share as there is a car parking charge. This was the second time I had completed this course and I managed a quicker time than 2018. Would recommend these distances to runners. Claire G
Volunteers at the aid stations were enthusiastic and very encouraging! Ellie S
