Event overview

The Blencathra Marathon is a fell event suitable for experienced fell and trail runners, and fell walkers. The route takes in 5 Wainwrights and is has an elevation of just under 6000ft. Taking in 5 Wainwright Summits, you’ll start in Caldbeck and make your way round a circular marathon route. You’ll summit Bowscale Fell, Blencathra, Mungrisdale Common, Knott, & High Pike, before returning to Caldbeck.
