Event overview
If you like beautiful races in beautiful places, like fun, like medals and like goodies then this event is for you.
You'll enjoy a bespoke medal and treats at the finish line!

This event is part of the It's Grim Up North calendar of runs, offering a range of distances and levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
Famous for its low-key approach, all runners will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly chat.
The aim is to get you out running, help you enjoy the beautiful countryside with great camaraderie and for you to experience the sense of well-being you get when you cross that finish line.
You'll be shown that the North is anything but Grim.
A popular event and a return to the Leeds Liverpool canal this time Just outside Bingley. The tow path on this event is great underfoot so this flat outback (if you don’t mind 3-Rise and 5-Rise Locks) is maybe the one that allows you to push yourself to the next distance. For this chip timed event all you have to do is choose one of the six distances available.
This event is part of Blimey it's Blistering at Bingley Again.

Loved all the food supplied at the end! Was a really small event but run really well. I was mostly running by myself, but I didn't mind that! Support and aid statiom at my turn around point, lovely support at the end when I came over the finish too! Lovely people and great atmosphere. First time doing a grim event, will be doing one again! Charlotte B
Just a really friendly event. Definitely will do another event and recommend to other runners. Debi P
Great race, organised and very friendly organisers. Tia H
Really enjoyable event and the friendliest and most supportive staff! Peter C
Smaller scale event compared to some other marathons that I have done but that is not a bad thing. Great fun, and very friendly support staff. More than happy to recommend this event. Matthew H
