Event overview

Experience at BME: Adapt and Overcome 2026. Participants will take part in an 'Ultra Fell Marathon' race set in the unpredictable landscape of the fells of Nether Wasdale in collaboration with 'Adapt Outdoors'. This event is engineered for runners who crave chaos, challenge, and the thrill of the unknown. Forget flat roads and gentle trails - this is explosive elevation, technical terrain, and lung-burning climbs that redefine what you think is possible. Choose your level of madness across three brutal race distances, each tearing through the same unforgiving valley: (1) 50K Ultra Fell Marathon (UFM), cut off 11 hours = DNF, Total Distance = 49.75km, Total Elevation Gain = 2769m. (2) 25K Hyper Fell Half Marathon (HFHM), cut off 5 hours = DNF, Total Distance = 25.64km, Total Elevation Gain = 1750m. (3) 9.4K Super Fell Challenge (SFC), cut off 3 hours = DNF, Total Distance = 9.45km, Total Elevation Gain = 438m. *NOTE: These routes are difficult and not recommended for beginners* Apply coupon code 'EARLY10' for 10% early bird discount. Valid until 31st Jan 2026. Camping is available, however message us directly to book!

This event is part of BME Adapt and Overcome.
