Event overview

A looped race event, totally contained within a farm and its lanes. Bownder is a festival of races, a celebration of the run/walks that our event competitors can enjoy. We are based at Lamarth Farm, in the heart of West Cornwall. So What do I run? More like, what don't I run! This festival of running offers it all. The races are Lamarth - 10k, House -1/2 Marathon, Moor - Full marathon, Carthouse - 50k, Vorey - 50 miles, Quillets - 100k, Killyanchor - 100 miles. Each race is named after a field on the farm. A race for every runner with generous cut offs to suit all abilities. It all comes down to..... How far do I want to run?

This event is part of Bownder.

Sleep well

A good night's sleep is an essential foundation for a healthy lifestyle, effective training and weight control.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
