Event overview

The Bruce's Crown race will run for the third time in 2026. Teams will navigate their way round a full circuit of the Galloway hills taking in the southern peaks, Rhinnes of Kells, Range of the Awful Hand and then visit Bruce's Stone before running to the finish. They will be supported on route by three fully stocked checkpoints (with hot soup etc) and MRT manned safety points on the hills. The "perfect" route is measured at 46 miles with 4600m of ascent. All profits of the race will go to Galloway Mountain Rescue Team.
