Event overview
Choose from the 30 or 50-mile route and enjoy the diverse trails that await you!
The full 50-mile travels over open moorland and woodland trails, as well as passing through some working farmland, taking in some of the more scenic views from above Todmorden and Old Town and Norland Moor. as well as the less popular canal section and odd road crossing.
Be sure to make the most of the six vegan-friendly aid stations, particularly the fifth one in Todmorden, situated between two big climbs, affectionately referred to as Little Bastard and Big Bastard. (if you know, you know).
You have 17 hours to get back to Heptonstall for hot food and a bar.
The shorter 30-mile ultra starts at Brookfoot Lock, Brighouse, and finishes at Heptonstall Bowling Club, with a 10-hour cut off. This means you still get the killer climbs in Todmorden but once you get to the top itβs flat to the end.
This event is part of Calderdale Way Ultra.

Love this route, it is my favourite ultra. Have done it twice now, and both times have been fantastic. The course is amazing and the volunteers just make it next level. Well-stocked aid stations, so much so that we can forgive them for including a very large hill outside Todmorden as the end 10km is fairly nice and flat. Megan T
