Event overview

Our headline sponsors are Brewer, Harding & Rowe Solicitors LLP. There will be a medal and t-shirt for all finishers* and prizes for the fastest runners in each age category. The 10K will start at Barnstaple Rugby Club, with a loop around Bridge Field before heading out onto the Tarka Trail towards Pottington. The race continues over the Taw Bridge, which is the steepest part of the course. Runners will follow the Tarka Trail to Anchorwood before turning back towards the town, crossing the river again at LongBridge and making their way to Rock Park. Following a loop of the park, the race will return back to the town square along the riverside and continue alongside the river back to the rugby club. The course is predominately off road using the Tarka Trail and public pavements; it is a flat, fast course perfect for a first race as well as an ideal opportunity to gain a personal best. Approximately measured 10K.
