Event overview
The first thing you need to know about the Chasewater Easter Egg races is that it fully supports racing fun!
Some of the runners choose to dress up as their favourite Easter character and whilst it's by no means mandatory, it does create a wonderful atmosphere for this Spring race! Runners can take part in the either a 20K race, a 15K race, a 10K race or 5K race but each one of them is a racing gem you'll want to return to year after year.
Highlights
- Picturesque reservoir
- Amazing volunteer support
- Friendly atmosphere
jUNIOR RACE
Juniors have their own dedicated event so that they can experience the delights of race day for themselves. This will give them a wonderful introduction to the sport and help foster a lifelong passion. The kids race is approximately 0.6km and is a great way to get the whole family involved this holiday weekend. The junior run will not be chip timed but the team looks forward to cheering each and every one of them across the finish line.
This event is part of Chasewater Easter Egg Challenge.

Race HQ
The Innovation Centre, just off the A5. The Race HQ is located close to the Innovation Centre at Chasewater Country Park, just off the A5. You can cross the footbridge to the event but we would recommend arriving by car.
The Chasewater Easter Egg 10k & 5k takes place at Chasewater Country Park and is accessible by car and, of course, by bicycle and on foot. Parking is located at the site, so please follow the car park marshal instructions.
By car
The Innovation Centre is located just off the A5 and is signposted onto Pool Road. Do not try and enter the park via the A5195 as this route is a single lane track blocked by a barrier at the end, which we do not have access to and turning is extremely difficult!
By rail
The nearest railway station is located at Cannock, but you will then need to get a taxi to the event.
Parking
Please enter the park from Watling Road. The postcode for sat navs is WS8 7NL. Please note that sometimes sat navs sometimes take people to the wrong side of the water. Chasewater Country Park is signposted from the A5 near Cannock & Brownhills.

- Sustainability policy
This event is doing its best to operate sustainably.
To help reduce the carbon footprint of this race, we would like to encourage all our runners to bring their own camel packs or reusable cups for this race. Our teams at the water stations will be happy to fill any receptacle that you might bring with you so that you stay hydrated and racing fit! The course was perfectly marked, and the entire event was flawlessly managed. Highly recommended! James W
Ran this as an easter run. A looped course so you don't get the uniqueness of a non looped course. Friendly event and some fancy dress thrown in. Ryan B
