Event overview

Just north of Henley on Thames the cycle takes you through a number of stunning villages where the likes of the iconic tv series the 'Vicar of Dibley' and 'Midsummer Murders' were filmed. This Sportive has two distances of 35 miles (56km) and 54 miles (86km) to accommodate all abilities!

The Chiltern Valley Winery and Brewery sportive is a social and adventurous cycle ride through the Chiltern Valley. The Chilterns is a top UK cycling destination comprising beautiful rolling countryside, providing challenging climbs and rewarding sweeping descents.

All routes take you through quintessential old English villages and countryside (filming locations for Midsomer Murders, Vicar of Dibley, Lewis, Miss Marple, Jonathan Creek) and pass Cobstone Windmill featured in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

All Half and Full Pint Riders will cycle the first 37-mile loop. At the route split, Full Pints riders and Half Pint riders will go their separate ways.
