Sprint triathlon, starting and finishing at Chirk Leisure Centre. 750m swim in the leisure centre’s pool, followed by an out and back 14.5 mile (23km) cycle in the countryside, through Pontfadog and Glyn Ceiriog. The run route is an out and back route on closed country roads.
