Event overview
Clevedon SwimRun is a short, accessible challenge combining approximately 7km of running and 1km of swimming, split into five run sections and four 250m swims in Clevedon Marine Lake.
The route starts at Event HQ on Salthouse Fields, running along the promenade, around the bandstand, across the beach and into the lake via the slipway.
Swimmers head up the lake beside the sea wall, exit at the pump house, then tackle an anticlockwise loop over Poets Walk before returning to Marine Lake for another swim.
This run–swim sequence is repeated, mixing promenade, beach, trails and lake swims, before a final run lap of Salthouse Fields brings you back to HQ to finish.
Ideal for beginners and experienced athletes alike, Clevedon SwimRun feels like a tough parkrun with swimming added, requiring no specialist kit beyond basic running gear.

The event organisers were helpful, attentive and personable. Clevedon is a beautiful place to run and the lido was manned well and instructions and napping were wonderfully clear. Would definitely recommend if you fancy something a little different๐ Kerry S
