Event overview

Join us on St David’s Day for Colour Run Cymru, a non-competitive 5K event that promises a vibrant and unforgettable day out for the whole family. Held in a festive, welcoming atmosphere, this event is designed for all ages and fitness levels. Whether you walk, jog, or run, you’ll make your way through a lively course filled with colour stations, music, and plenty of Welsh pride. As you pass each checkpoint, volunteers will shower you in bright, biodegradable powder—turning your run into a moving celebration of spring and community. There’s no pressure to complete the full 5K. Whether you do one lap or all of them, you’ll be cheered on by friendly marshals and surrounded by a buzzing crowd. Costumes are encouraged—especially daffodils, dragons, and traditional Welsh dress—and the emphasis is on fun, not finish times. Bring your friends, bring your family, and get ready to celebrate St David’s Day in the most colourful way possible. Colour Run Cymru is more than a run—it’s a joyful tribute to Welsh culture, community, and togetherness.
