Event overview

Multi-terrain race through the beautiful Berkshire and Hampshire countryside. It is an ideal race to prepare for marathon season. The race starts from Combe Gibbet and finishes in Overton. Should the ground conditions be unsuitable, there is a backup route for the race - which uses about half of the standard course (it starts about 5 miles the traditional route), but ao uses more of the Wayfarers Walk. Most importantly, this does not start from the Combe Gibbet. A decision will be made no later than a week before the race should we need to switch to the alternative route. We will be checking the ground conditions well ahead of the race, and if necessary will switch courses earlier. There is limited parking at the start of the alternative route - which means we will want the vast majority of runners to use the coaches. Your race entry includes : A bus ride from Overton to the start at Combe Gibbet (Departures from 12:30, with last bus leaving at 12:45 sharp.) The transportation of your kit back to the finish. All road crossings professionally traffic managed.
