Event overview
The Cirencester basecamp is the start of the full 100km looped route through the heart of the Cotswolds, providing a stunning setting for 2,000 adventurers to test themselves.
Rolling hills, villages, the Cotswold Way, footpaths and trails, with some fabulous views en route. You’ll get full support, including optional ‘university style’ accommodation at basecamp, and with 50km half, 25km quarter and a Cirencester 10K distance option also – there’s a Cotswolds Challenge for everyone.
The Ultra Challenge Experience
This endurance event is for a wide range of fitness and ages. Choose your distance and do it at your pace. The support enables you to go further, whilst enjoying the great outdoors and camaraderie.
There are marquee rest stops, plenty of food and drink, medical and massage teams, and a fully signed route with GPS tracking to guide you. A big finish-line celebration awaits with an amazing sense of achievement, and once the aches subside, you’ll feel energised and up for more of life’s challenges!

Overview
Join the full-on 100km Challenge, setting out from Cirencester on Saturday morning and heading north into the rolling green hills of the Cotswolds. There is 2,250 m of ascent with undulating climbs, which whilst testing your legs will reward you with some breath-taking views. This continuous challenge will see you stopping every ~12-13 km for stops and refreshments, with a main halfway stop in Wotton, before heading back towards Cirencester.
