Event overview

With over 5,400 feet of climbing this event is for those riders who love a challenge. There is some fabulous scenery on the route with some twisting, climbing roads over the North Pennine moors. CRAWLEYSIDE BANK is one of the top 60 climbs in the UK and is certainly one to tick off at least once. In 2025 we will have a £50 prize each for the fastest Male & Female up the 2.8 mile stretch. (The first 89km must be completed prior to attempting the Climb) The exact routes will be sent upon registration with GPX links that can be downloaded. The route will be well signed and with marshals where necessary. The Highway Code must always be adhered to and cycle hats must be worn. There is a feed station at Allendale which will include drinks, pastries, cakes, chocolate and sweets. There are public toilets along the route.
