Event overview
The route is rural and undulating along country lanes, passing through picturesque Farningham Village, and past notable local landmarks such as Eagle Heights, the Roman Villa and Lullingstone Castle and World Gardens before a long uphill section through Lullingstone Country Park. Here there are lovely views over Castle Farm lavender fields, before dropping down the hill towards the Visitors Centre, and along a footpath parallel with the river, finally returning via the Roman Villa and back into Eynsford over the picturesque bridge at the ford.
