Event overview

Earn a fabulous sugar skull design medal as well as chocolate goody bag. We will also have hot drinks and cake for everyone. It's a 6 hour running challenge; a flat, lapped event with laps of approximately 6.55 miles. You can run as few or as many laps as you wish within the 6 hour limit. All runners, no matter how many laps they have run will receive a bespoke medal and a goody bag. Race HQ is Penistone Community Centre, Church St, Penistone, Sheffield S36 6AR. With plenty of parking, toilets and an indoor area for baggage that can be accessed at any point. The feed station will be outside the hall and can be accessed after 2 miles or the end of the full 6 mile loop (or both). Complimentary hot drinks and cake will be available inside the hall during and after the event. So, you can run one lap, finish, eat cake and go home or you could run 2 laps for a half marathon distance, 4 for a marathon or see how many laps you can do until the 6 hours is up. This a fabulous event for running with friends and for making new friends. As it is a Halloween themed event we would also love people to come along in fancy dress. It is definitely not compulsory, but we will have a prize for the best fancy dress costume. You must have started your final lap before the 6 hour time limit (even if your finish time will be after 6 hours). Like our other events, it is cupless. Please bring your own bottle or cup and we will happily fill and refill this for you with squash, water or coke on the day. Registration and bib collection will be on the morning of the race. Unfortunately, due to permit restrictions runners will not be allowed to run with dogs.
