Who can MoRun

Absolutely everyone!

Mums, Dads, brothers, sisters, kids, grandparents and even your dog!

MoRunning is all about inclusivity, so whether you are just starting out, a seasoned runner, young or old, you can be a MoRunner.

Without a doubt, MoSistas make up around half of all runners! Females are essential to making MoRunning a success, getting the MoBros running and helping raise awareness.

Warm-up

There will be some funky tunes played and the team will get you warmed up and ready to run!

Crazy costumes

Without a doubt MoRunners bring good fun, great vibes, loads of laughs and incredible costumes.

The crowds love it, we love it and there's a load of amazing MoMedals to hand out.

If you want to be in the fancy dress showdown make sure you line up between the fancy dress flags by 9.15am. There will also be spot prizes for best dressed Mini MoRunners when they cross the finish line.

MoRun Awards

There are prizes for:

Whether you are in it for the prizes or not, you will get a load of MoLove just being part of the MoRunning family.

Teams

Get as many friends, family or colleagues together to join you.

Make sure everyone you want to be in your team uses exactly the same team name when booking.

Walkers

For the 5K, some walking is allowed however, due to time constraints, the 10K and half marathon events must be predominantly running/jogging.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchair participants are encouraged and the route is suitable.

Parking

The main car park is located at OS ref SK335377 or SatNav Postcode DE22 4AA, off the A38/A52 Markeaton Island Roundabout. The Mundy Play Centre car park is on Markeaton Lane DE22 4NH. Normal parking charges apply to all events. Alternatively if you can leave the car at home or travel with family/friends that would help.

Overview

Get ready Derby to MoRun around the stunning Markeaton Park! The traffi-free run route is a mix of paths and trail running, it's dog friendly and suitable for buggy running. It's suitable for wheelchairs too.

  The MoRunning medals are pretty special! You definitely need to add this to your collection and will collect yours as soon as you cross the finish line!

  Every MoRunner receives a super cool MoRunning headband. Collect when you arrive to your MoRun, wear it with pride and smile for the crowd!

  Every MoRunner will receive the very best in race timing with full race chip timing and instant results as soon as you cross the finish line.

Supporting Movember

MoRunning proudly supports Movember.

Movember is the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year round. Movember raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

When registering you can help support the charity by making a donation or you can set up a fundraising page with Movember or JustGiving once you complete your entry. Simply raise as much as you can.

One adult can run with their Mini Mo free of charge! The adult does not need to register.  However, Mini Mo medals are given to the children, not the accompanying adult.
