Solo entrants

Plenty of people enter Dorset Mud Run by themselves and embrace the camaraderie of the day! Some obstacles may require assistance but marshals and other runners will no doubt give you a hand!

Spectators

Unlike many mud runs, spectators can watch for free.

Spectators won’t be able to access the entire course and will be required to stay in the spectator area, however, they will be able to watch you tackle the final obstacle then cheer you on whilst enjoying the food and drinks on offer. Well-behaved dogs on leads are allowed at the venue but not on the course.

By car

The Dorset Mud Run is held at Stock Gaylard Estate, along the A3030 4 miles from Sturminster Newton and 8 miles from Sherborne.

There is no public transport to the estate. The best way to get to us is by driving.

Parking

There is lots of free parking available in the fields adjacent to the Dorset Mud Run course. Please follow the parking marshals' directions on arrival.

Cleaning up

There are no showers available but please make the most of the water pool and hoses at the finish line!
