Event overview

After the success of the event last year this is back. Trophies for 1st Male, Female and mixed pairs. This is a great race to start the season, fun and friendly with a free cuppa before and after the race. This is a unique format and the only race of its type we are aware of in East Yorkshire where it is the time of the last person in the pair when crossing the finish line ( and no you are not tied together ! ). The race can only take place with the special permission the land owners and our thanks go out to them with a special thanks to SHCS. The race starts at the Withernsea Pavilion and follows the old railway track and farm tracks before entering Hollym Carrs a special place just outside Withernsea as the runners follow the tracks though the woods onto a bridal way and then once at hollym rejoin the railway lines with just under 1.5K to go back to a warm welcome and a cuppa at “ The Hut “. Bilp Active value the work the volunteers do at SHCC in enhancing our countryside and will be making a donation. You must run in pairs and the time will be take of the last person in your pairs so no good speeding of and leaving your partner.
