First duathlon, great support from other participants. Christina King
Very well organised, lovely bike route. Liz McLellan
Excellent events for beginners. Anthony Nicholls
Great event with a real community feel. Clearly marked route on run and ride with low traffic - what’s not to like. I’ll definitely being doing this next year. Karen H
Quality duathlon course this one, nice and fast, the run through some trails and housing estate, the bike out through the Cheshire lanes (2 laps for the sprint). Always a good atmosphere with a mix of all abilities just like all the MCA Events. And the best thing.....it starts and ENDS at THE PUB. Classic. John K
This event is aimed at all levels but has a really strong emphasis on welcoming new to the sport entrants. It has a grass root feel but also the race vibe for experienced racers that want to test themselves with a number pinned on for motivation. The course is quiet and well signed. The bike course is quieter too but still on open roads. The road surface has some broken tarmac that needs extra care but that is a problem wherever you race in UK roads! The run route takes you through a quiet housing estate incorporating a surrounding hard packed trail path. This is still good for road racing shoes. The transition area is in a car park and very nearly compact, with nearby toilets available. Overall, a friendly atmosphere for all abilities. Mark S
